Privacy notice

Digital Horizon, operating as DigiHoriz, is a software agency based in Austin, Texas, United States. We are responsible for the personal data collected through digihoriz.com and through the email conversations that start there.

When you send a message, request a quote or submit a project brief, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, company, a phone number if you choose to give one, and the details of the project you describe. If you write to us directly, we keep that correspondence.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to profile visitors.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, and the site is not directed at children.

We use your details to reply to you, to prepare a scope and a quote, to deliver services you contract, and to keep a record of what was agreed. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by email.

We do not add you to a marketing list or send newsletters. If we ever want to contact you for anything other than your own request, we will ask first.

We do not sell or rent personal data. It is processed on our behalf by a small number of service providers who need it to do their job: the email delivery service that carries form submissions to us, the provider that hosts the site, and the email service where our inbox lives. Each one is bound to process the data only for that purpose.

Beyond that, we disclose personal data only when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect our rights or yours.

The site sets one cookie, which remembers your language preference so that you land on the English or Spanish version next time. It contains no identifier and is not used for tracking.

We do not run analytics or advertising cookies today. If that changes, this notice will be updated before they are switched on.

We keep inquiries and project correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and, where a project follows, for the life of that relationship plus the period required for accounting and legal records. Inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within a reasonable time.

Data travels over HTTPS and is stored with providers that maintain their own security programs. Access inside the company is limited to the people who need it to work on your request.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a given purpose. Write to hello@digihoriz.com from the address you used with us, or tell us how to verify that it is you. We answer within a reasonable period and never charge for it.

If you are in Mexico, you have the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO rights) under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, and the same email address is the channel to exercise them. The Spanish version of this notice is the one that applies to you.

If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights, such as the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, those rights apply as well.

When we change how we handle personal data we update this page and change the date shown at the top. Substantive changes that affect data we already hold will be communicated to the people concerned by email.
